Your Next Branding Session; How to Provide and Measure value

Here at ESMM, we know that your next branding photoshoot is a big deal. There’s a fair amount of planning, coordination and support that we ensure we provide before we even start taking the photos. We will often talk about a branding session investment in terms of value. What does it mean to get the most value out of your session, and how do we measure that as a marketing agency?

First things first, updated professional branding photos will provide you and your business with a ton of value. And guess what? You don’t even have to do anything to see that value but share those images. A website, social media page, etc that has professional images at a clients first encounter will automatically give your potential clients more insight into what you do. Its like, here are some clear images of what I do. Here are some clear images of how I’ll make you feel when we work together. Here is me, and I care about you. On top of all that, it shows that you care about your business too.

Okay, so what else? On top of the automatic level-ing up of your biz with some new photos, we also provide value during your session in the following ways:

  • Encouraging you to book a longer session - a longer session will mean more concepts, and more ways to showcase different facets of your business. For example, you might own a product-based company. With a shorter session, we might have time to take photos of your products and maybe a few headshots of you. Great! But with a longer session we might be able to capture images of clients opening your products, using your products, showing their joy and/or emotion surrounding purchasing your products.

  • Using various locations and/or one location with lots of variety - different locations gives us the opportunity to tell your story with a lot of visual variance. Viewers won’t see the same images every time, the same background every time. A photo of a client in an office with a business-casual outfit tells a different story than a photo of a client sitting on their bed in a more casual outfit working from home.

  • Bringing in an on-set stylist & makeup artist - we work with the best of the best (and we’re very proud of that fact!). Bringing in the professionals means that we can really highlight your beauty and confidence.

  • Suggesting multiple outfits - Continuity is key. Imagine a final gallery with 100 images. All of these 100 images are in the same outfit, are they going to be as easy to use repetitively online or do you think you may need another session again sooner? We know that your investment is important, so we recommend a few outfits so that your gallery is full of different shots and is dynamic for a long time of use.
